“I believe success is purely the practice of being the best version of yourself on that day. This is the only thing I require from my athletes.”

Spencer Agnew, DPT, has worked across disciplines, ages, and ability levels to help athletes maximize their performance since 2014. Coaching on the high school, collegiate, and post-collegiate level, Agnew brings his extensive knowledge--including an undergraduate degree in exercise physiology, a doctorate in physical therapy, and seven years of guiding athletes--to each client. He has helped guide athletes from 400m through ultra marathons, as well as multisport and trail athletes.
Spencer's passion for coaching stems from his relentless pursuit to build connections with people and use relationships to help inspire his athletes to be the best version of themselves. “I believe success is purely the practice of being the best version of yourself on that day. This is the only thing I require from my athletes. I believe in developing self-awareness within my athletes and using that mindfulness to help athletes through the journey that is your customized training adventure. Improvement in sport is through consistency, self-discovery, persistence, and enjoyment in what you do.”
As an athlete, Spencer was an all-state performer at Fort Atkinson high school, ran collegiately for Marquette University, and holds personal bests of 3:46 (1500m), 4:05 (mile), and 14:29 (5,000m). He has developed a passion for trail running and looks to move into longer distance racing (marathon and beyond) in the years to come. Spencer, a father of three, coaches at his alma mater, guiding their girls 4x800m relay to a state title in 2022.
